For US bank accounts, the Bank Key is the ABA routing number.  For non-US bank accounts, the Bank Key is the SWIFT ID

This field contains the number under which the account is managed at the bank

Currency

R

Monetary unit. The currency of the entity processing transactions.

Example:         USD

Statement Number

R

A unique number assigned to each bank statement in SAP

    For an initial statement, this value is always 1.

    If the statement number is equal to 1 a warning message indicates this is the first statement. Click Enter to proceed.

Example:         1

Statement Date

R

The statement date indicates when the bank generated the statement.

    This date should be the closing date of the bank statement period.

Example:         03/31/2005

Opening Balance

R

Bank statement beginning balance

Example:         0

Closing Balance

R

Closing balance from the bank statement.

Example:         10000

Posting date

R

The date on which a transaction in SAP will be posted to the appropriate accounts.  SAP will default this field to be the current date, but changes are allowed.  For items to be posted in a future or past period, you must enter the posting date.
