This procedure is used to access the documentation about an Idoc type or Idoc Segment type of interest.

The documentation about Idoc type or segment type might be needed to understand the structure of an Idoc of interest. Inbound EDI messages are translated into Idocs which will be mapped to various applications like SAP R/3 or SCEM. Also outbound EDI messages Idocs have to be created from SAP R/3. Standard Idocs can be used for these outbound messages. Also, information regarding the Idocs and segments might be needed to understand the errors during Idoc processing. |
